Randy Edward Poortinga

POORTINGA- At his residence at R.R.#1 Mount Elgin on Tuesday July 26, 2005, Randy Edward in his 45th year. Beloved husband of Carolin Poortinga (Wardle) and dear father of Angela and Dwayne of Woodstock, Nathan and Zachary at home. Special grandpa of Ethan and Darrien. Dear son of Andy and Rose Poortinga and son-in-law of Lloyd Wardle of Tillsonburg and Shirley Wardle (Tom) of Kintore. Brother of Diane (Greg) of Paris, Peter and Sandy and Larry and Charlene of Woodstock and Calvin of Merrickville and also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., (519) 539-0004 on Thursday July 28 from 7-9 pm and Friday from 10 - 11 am where the service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 am with Peter Hogeterp officiating. Contributions to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated.
