Ralph Schut

SCHUT, Ralph - At his residence on Monday, January 14th, 2013. Ralph Schut of Canterbury Street Woodstock, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Tina Schut (nee Witvoet). Dear father of John and his wife Sharon of RR#7 Simcoe, Cindy Stacey and her husband Michael of Hamilton and father-in-law of Debbie DeClerck and her husband Eric of Otterville. Cherished grandfather of Shawn (Melissa), Tara (Doug), Ashley, David, Nicholas, Rachel and Connor and great grandfather of Taylor, Austin, Emily and Addison. Also survived by his brothers Hank (Betty), John (Alice) and Albert (Jessie), as well as several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family members in Canada and Holland. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Fenna (nee Oldenbevving) Schut and son Allan (1974). Ralph was a longtime member of the Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, Royal Canadian Legion Br. #55 Woodstock and enjoyed visiting with friends while delivering the "Today" booklet. Friends will be received by the family at the Brock & Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Wednesday January 16th, 2013 from 6-8 pm and again on Thursday from 12:30 - 1:30 pm at the church. The funeral service will be held at the Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 735 Frontenac Cres. Woodstock on Thursday, January 17th at 2:00pm. Interment in the Hillview Cemetery.
