Ralph Beverley Moyer

It is with great sadness that we, the family of Ralph Beverley Moyer, wish to announce his sudden passing in his 75th year on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the Woodstock General Hospital. Ralph leaves behind cherished memories as a wonderful father, grandfather, brother, and dear friend to many. Born in Woodstock, Ontario, on June 5, 1949, son of the late Ivan and Doreen Moyer.

Forever a devoted father and father-in-law to Tim (Brenda Bracewell) of Woodstock, Bonnie of Oakville, and Mark (Karla Row) of Springfield. Always a caring and proud grandfather to Felicia, Mikaela, Abby, and Zach. Lovingly remembered by his siblings, Grant (Maureen) Moyer of Embro and Hazel (Gary) Harwood of Woodstock, as well as his nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ralph is also survived by his former wife, Marion (Hofstetter) Moyer of New Hamburg.

Ralph was an active and dedicated member of the Innerkip Fire Department for 30 years. Simultaneously, Ralph was employed at Thomas Bus Ltd. Upon retirement, Ralph operated a forklift for Unilock and transported used cars for Ray’s Cars Sales. Ralph was a daily member of the coffee club and the community garage gatherings. In his later years, Ralph and his ‘61 Ford Thunderbird were seen cruising the streets of Innerkip. Notably, he regularly participated in the Innerkip and area car shows.

Friends, neighbours, and relatives are invited to attend the public visitation on Thursday December 14, 2023  between 2 – 4 pm and 6-8 pm in the Brock and Visser Funeral Home. Funeral will take place on Friday December 15, 2023 at 11 am at Brock and Visser Funeral Home .  Everyone who had the privilege of knowing Ralph is welcome to share their favourite memories, upload photos, and express personal condolences via Ralph’s online tribute page at www.brockandvisser.com
