Ralph D Mackoske passed away in London, Ontario on Monday October 9, 2023

Ralph was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 24, 1929, to August and Sade (Wrightman) Mackoske. The family moved to the Dutton, Ontario area, then subsequently relocated back to Michigan.

At age 17, Ralph proudly enlisted in the US Marine Corps, where he achieved the rank of Corporal He served in Tsing Tao China from 1946 to 1949 aboard the USS Princeton.

On returning home, he went to work for the Ford Motor Company in Michigan, retiring after forty years of service with Ford, to Tobermory, Ontario in 1988 with his wife Ruth. They subsequently relocated to St Thomas and then to London, Ontario.

Ralph is survived by his nephew Paul (Mary) Turlukowski of Howell, Michigan; by his stepson Wayne (Barbara) Stonehouse of Camlachie, Ontario and their children Rob Stonehouse of Camlachie, Ontario and Shari (Michael) Thompson of Hamilton, Ontario; by his stepdaughter Kathy (late Larry) Wood of Ingersol, Ontario and their children Jeff, Darin, and Alan. Ralph is also survived by many great grandchildren. Ralph is also survived by his nephew Bob (Christine) Dykeman of London, Ontario and by his nephew Stephen Dykeman of London, Ontario.

Ralph leaves behind many cousins in the Dutton, Ontario area, including Mac and Anne Lilley and Don *Dutch" Lilley, and many other Lilley and Wrightman family members.

Ralph was predeceased by his beloved wife Ruth Harriet (Smith) Mackoske in 2012. He was predeceased by his parents as well as his brother Ed, his sister Jean Turlukowski, and by his youngest brother Don, with whom he spent many a wonderful year fishing in Longlac, Ontario. Following Don's death, his stepson Wayne assumed the role of fishing companion for over twenty years. He was also predeceased by his niece Patricia Myers, by his nephew Michael Turlukowski, and by his nephew Paul Dykeman.

Memorial visitation will take place on Monday October 16, 2023, from 12-1 pm followed by a Memorial service at 1 pm held at Brock and Visser Funeral Home (845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock, ON., 519-539-0004)
