Quirina M. (Hogervorst) Vandermeer

VANDERMEER- Answering her wish, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter on Friday October 10, 2003. Quirina (Rina) M. Vandermeer (nee Hogervorst) of Woodstock in her 70th year. Beloved wife of the late Johannes (John) A. Vandermeer (2001). Dear mother of John (Suzie), Gord (Evelyn), Ruth Harper (Floyd), Jim (Nellie), Tony (Mary), Ben (Kathi), and Marianne Cook (Leroy). Loved grandmother of 22 grandchildren. Dear sister of Teresa VandenBoomen (Peter) of Canada, Father Rudi Hogervorst of Chili, Peter Hogervorst (Tiny), Elizabeth Ruigt, Arend Hogervorst (Corrie), Catherina Van der Helm (Aad), Corrie deVrede (Frans) all of Holland and sister-in-law of Mary Hogervorst. Also survived by several brothers and sisters in-law in Holland. Predeceased by brothers Jacobus and Matthew Hogervorst and brother-in-law Arie Ruigt. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (539-0004) Tuesday 2:30 - 4:30 & 7-9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held in St. Rita's Roman Catholic Church 904 Dundas St. Woodstock Wednesday at 1:30 pm with Father Alan Dufraimont. Interment in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery.
