NAUTA - Gone to be with his Lord, suddenly at the Woodstock General Hospital on Wednesday February 11, 2009. Pier Nauta of Woodstock and formerly of RR# 6, Woodstock in his 67th year. Beloved husband of the late Trijntje (nee Stoffelsma) Nauta (2003). Dear father of Allardus Nauta and his wife Grietsje, Wiebe Nauta and his wife Marielle all of RR# 6, Woodstock and Marjan Hettinga and her husband Lolle of Friesland, Netherlands. Loved Pake of Derika, Tina, Pier, Jacinda, Evert, Annette and predeceased by granddaughter Tiny. Dear brother of Brunette Brandsma (Harke) of Netherlands and the late Grietje Riemersma (1998) . Pier was a longtime member of the Emmanuel Reformed Church, Woodstock and was a dairy farmer at RR# 6, Woodstock for many years. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Sunday February 15, 2009 from 2 - 4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Emmanuel Reformed Church, 170 Clarke St. Woodstock on Monday February 16, 2009 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Case Koolhaas officiating.
