Phyllis Eleanore Pearson

Passed away peacefully at the tender age of 99 ¾ under the angelic care of Sakura House. Phyllis Eleanore was born October 29, 1924. Married to late Ronald Charles of Burgessville on June 6, 1945. She is survived by her loving sons Ronald Mark (Connie) and Philip who doted over her for many years keeping with her wishes she was able to stay at home which she loved. Predeceased by her parents Ruby and Alfred Hunt and brother Don Hunt. Phyllis was grandmother to three beautiful girls Tara (Phil), Emily (Alex), and Kathryn (Evan) and great grandchildren Stetson, Weston and Kai.

Phyllis skated until she was 93 and had many friends. Phyllis loved to golf, she sewered a 24-foot putt at Woodstock Meadows practice green resulting in a resounding applause from everyone on the patio. More recent pastimes included sitting out front or back listening about the lives of her family and friends and fondly telling stories of yesteryear and adventures skating across the street behind Chapel School that her Dad lovingly made for all the neighborhood kids to enjoy.

A graveside service will take place at Burgessville Baptist Cemetery on Friday July 19, 2024 at 11 am. A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday August 10, 2024, from 1-4 pm at 504762 Old Stage Rd. Woodstock Ontario. All are welcome.
