Phyllis Irene (Barlow) Hartsell

HARTSELL, Phyllis - At Woodstock Hospital on Sunday July 22, 2012. Phyllis Irene (nee Barlow) Hartsell of Woodstock in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Francis William Hartsell (2001). Dear mother of Carol (Keith) Walton, Ferne (Walter) Alyea, Ann (Sandy) Streatch, Elgin (Ruby) Hartsell and Eric Hartsell (Kate Brant). Loved grandmother of eleven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Phyllis is also survived by her dear cousin Ralph (Aileen) Murray. Predeceased by her sons Garth and Ian, four brothers and two sisters. She was the last surviving member of her own family. Phyllis was a longtime member of Christ Church Anglican Oxford Centre and an honorary member of the Ladies Aid of Christ Church Anglican Oxford Centre. Friends will be received by the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday July 24, 2012 from 2:30 - 4:30 and 7- 9 pm. A funeral service will be held in Christ Church Anglican Oxford Centre on Wednesday at 2:00 pm with Fr. Bill White officiating. Interment to follow in the Christ Church Anglican Cemetery.
