CHECK, Phyllis Irene (nee Purvis)- Passed away suddenly at the Stratford Hospital on Friday, June 14th, 2019, in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Stephen Check for almost 55 years. Loving mother of Steve (Tracey Conrad) Check and proud grandmother of Ocean Check. Dear sister-in-law to Leslie (Marilyn) Check. Predeceased by her brother Terry Purvis and sister Doris Wessel. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home Thamesford Chapel, 177 Dundas St., Thamesford (519-285-2427) on Wednesday, June 19th, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with the funeral service at 12:00 PM. Interment to follow at the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Ontario Heart & Stroke would be appreciated and may be arranged through Funeral Home.
