COTE - With his family at his side at the Woodstock General Hospital on Wednesday March 29, 2006. Philip Wayne Cote of Woodstock in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Susan Cote (nee Veenstra). Dear father of Joseph of Carleton Place, Douglas of Ottawa, Richard and his wife Gillian of Calgary and Robert of Ottawa. Loved grandfather of Alexander and Cynthia. Dear brother of Brian and his wife Mary Beth of Newark, Delaware, Barry and his wife Betty of Port Colborne, Roger of Leamington and Matthew and his wife Kathy of Simcoe and brother-in-law of Egbert Veenstra and his wife Annie of the Netherlands, Hilda Nauta and her husband Abe of Chatham, Martin Veenstra and his wife Thea, Mike Veenstra and his wife Jean, Frank Veenstra, Carl Veenstra and his wife Sue all of Woodstock and Henry Veenstra and his wife Kathryn of Embro. Predeceased by his sister Carole Vago. Philip was a member of the Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographical Society for over 35 years. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home , 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004 on Friday March 31, 2006 7-9 pm. A funeral service to celebrate Philip's life will be held at the Knox Presbyterian Church in Woodstock on Saturday at 1:30 pm with Rev. John vanVliet officiating. Interment later in the Presbyterian Cemetery following cremation.
