Petrus "Pete" Jacobus Keizer

Keizer, Petrus "Pete" - Passed in peace at home with his Kitty on March 27, 2017 at the age of 90. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Erica (nee Kleinschmdit) Keizer (2004). He was born in the Netherlands on July 25, 1926, and made the long trip to Canada by boat in 1957 with his wife Erica and dearest friends Fritz and Gertrud DeVries. While Woodstock was his home, Pete loved to travel and made regular trips to Florida and Germany to spend time with friends and family. He is survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Germany including the newest additional to his family, his great great great niece Sydney. Pete spent his free time drinking coffee and sharing fond memories with his friends at McDonalds and was a dedicated member of the Emmanuel Reformed Church of Woodstock. While he will be dearly missed by all, he is now resting peacefully with Erica in heaven. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Visiting will take place at Emmanuel Reformed Church, 170 Clarke St. N, Woodstock, on Friday March 31, 2017 from 10:00 - 11:00 am where the complete funeral service will be held at 11:00 am with Reverend Peter Burrill officiating.
