WOOD - Passed away peacefully at the Woodstock General Hospital on Monday September 7, 2009. Peter Russell Wood of Warwick St. Woodstock in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Marie Wood (nee Wight). Dear father of David Wood. Dear brother of Joan Pursley and her late husband Doug of Brantford, Nancy MacMillan and her husband Jim of Ingersoll and brother-in-law of Wayne Wight and his wife Pat of Simcoe. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Peter was a past member of the Ingersoll Optimist Club and the Moose Family Centre of Woodstock. Predeceased by his son Michael Wood (2006). Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Thursday from 2:30-4:30 & 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel Friday at 11:00 am with Rev.
