Peter Colin Spruce

Peter Colin Spruce, passed away on April 1, 2025, at Victoria Hospital in London. He lived a life rooted in nature, learning, and a quiet generosity, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Peter held an MBA from the Ivy School of Business at Western and a Forestry Degree from Lakehead University.

A lifelong nature enthusiast, Peter found joy in the woods, in beekeeping, fly fishing, gardening and cutting the grass. He cherished his trips to British Columbia and loved flying Cessna aircraft.

Peter is survived by his beloved family, including his daughter, Jillian (Spruce) Nielsen (Lauge); his son, Kevin Spruce (Amanda); his grandchildren, Isabella and Rowan; and his siblings, Andy Spruce (Debbie), Pam Strelec, Derek Spruce, and Landon McNaughton (Rod). He was a loved uncle to his nieces and nephews. He will be warmly remembered by his close friends, June Spruce, Carl Johnson, and Carolyn Schramm. He was predeceased by his parents, Colin and Barbara Spruce.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Brock & Visser Funeral Home at 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004). The event will begin at 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.

Peter leaves behind a legacy of love, respect, and quiet strength.
