SMITH - At his residence on Monday September 29, 2003. Peter Smith of Woodingford Lodge and formerly of Fairview Cres., Woodstock in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Catherine "Kay" F. Smith (nee Campbell) for over 65 years. Dear father of Mary Merrick and her husband Hollis of Perrysburg, Ohio and Jean Mahon and her husband John of Saskatoon. Loved grandfather of Elizabeth Smith Mahon and Catherine Mae Mahon. Predeceased by his sisters Mary, Isabell and by his brothers Robert and Alex. Peter was a past member of the Woodstock Rotary Club, the Woodstock Probus Club, an honourary member of the Woodstock Shrine Club, a past Dog Show Judge, a member of the Canadian Kennel Club and was an Administrator of the Woodstock General Hospital for over 24 years. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004, Friday after 12:30pm, where the complete memorial service will be held on Friday at 1:30pm with Rev. John vanVliet officiating. Interment in the Presbyterian Cemetery. Contributions to the Woodstock General Hospital Building Fund, Woodingford Lodge or a charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
