POPMA, Peter Joseph - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Tuesday May 24, 2011. Peter Joseph Popma of Woodstock in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Catherine M. Popma (nee Does). Dear father of Ted and his wife Janice of London, Tom and his wife Jamie of Woodstock, Rev. Bob and his wife Michelle of Westport, Jim of Woodstock and Gerard and his wife Oona of Toronto. Loved grandfather of eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Dear brother of Aloy and his wife Anne, Hendrik and his wife Maritje, Alice De Boer and Catherine Wahle and her husband Teake all of Holland. Predeceased by four brothers and two sisters. Peter was a longtime employee of Standard Tube. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family for a time of visitation at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Thursday May 26, 2011 from 7-9 pm. A mass of the resurrection will be held at the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, Woodstock on Friday at 11:00 am. Interment later in the St. Mary's Cemetery.
