GUTHRIE, Peter James - Passed peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital, on Sunday August 30th, 2015, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Betty (nee Crearie) Guthrie for over 49 years. Cherished father to James Guthrie, Jennifer (Wayne) deSwart, Patricia (Teus) Roordink and Pamala (David) Cecchin. Loved grandfather of Aaron, Raquel, Emily, Alyssa, Riley, Krista, Jacob and Tristan. Dear brother of David Guthrie and Melony Guthrie and will be remembered by several nieces and nephews. Peter was a longtime member of Dundas St. United Church and an employee of Union Gas for over 33 years. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2015, from 7-9pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 1:30 pm with Rev.
