Pauline (Jones) Gilbert

GILBERT, D.I. Pauline (nee Jones) – After a long and courageous battle with cancer, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, August 16th, 2019 at Sakura House, Woodstock, in her 79th year.  Beloved wife of the late Wayne Gilbert (2004). Strong, spirited and cherished mother of Kelly Gilbert, Kerry Therkildsen, and Kathy Wayne (Mike Paterson). Proud and loving Gran of Alyssa Therkildsen (Jeff), Hillary Wayne, Matt Therkildsen and Trenton Wayne (Shayna). Fondly remembered by Brandon, Stacey, and Kyle. Dear sister of Pat McKellar (2015), Mary Bannister (2015), Mark Jones (Coleen) and Chris Jones. Survived by her in-laws; Gord McKellar, Albert Bannister, Gwen Greenaway (late Bob), Robert Gilbert (Jean) and Sharon Wozniak (Henry). Pauline will by missed by her many nieces and nephews.  Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Thamesford Chapel, 177 Dundas St., Thamesford (519-285-2427) on Monday August 19th, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 20th, 2019 at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the V.O.N.
