DAVEY, E. Pauline - Peacefully at Woodingford Lodge Woodstock, on Sunday July 1st, 2012. Pauline Davey (nee Zufelt) in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Allan Davey (2004). Dear mother of Lynda Wood and her husband Bob, Judy Proper and her husband Vern all of Sweaburg and Joan Hutchison and her husband Dennis of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Jennifer Bigras (Mitchell), Jason Wood, Michael Proper (Sandra), Julie Bullock (Adam), Mark Proper (Nadia), Scott Crowley (Angela), Craig Crowley, Tina (Dave), Ian (Dawn) and Colleen (Mark) and great grandmother of Katelyn, Clayton, Jacob, Hayley, Tyson, Travis, Addison, Pip, Finn, Seamus, Charlie and Andy. Dear sister of Doug Zufelt (Hulda) of Woodstock and sister-in-law to Mabel Haycock of Woodstock. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Pauline was a longtime member of Sweaburg United Church and a Charter member of the Sweaburg UCW. Pauline first started teaching in the "one room" school houses across Oxford County, including; Quaker St., Norwich, Foldens, Salford and Harris Heights. Her love for teaching continued even after retirement when she volunteered at Sweaburg Elementary School where she would help her grandchildren learn to read and write. A time of visitation will be held for friends and family to gather at the Brock & Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock 519-539-0004 on Thursday July 5, 2012 from 2:30 - 4:30 and 7-9 pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11:00 am with Rev.
