THOMPSON - At Woodstock General Hospital on Wednesday, September 12, 2007. Friedrich Paul Thompson of Willowgrove Cres., Woodstock in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Linda Margaret Thompson (nee Baskett). Dear father of Donna (Doug Brown) of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Travis Kyle Thompson and Caitlin Nicole Gunter, both of Woodstock. Dear brother of Pearl of Calgary, Betty of Edmonton, and Shirley of Woodstock. Loved brother-in-law of Allan Baskett (Patricia) and Elinor Bright (Kerry Redden). Dear son-in-law of Irene Baskett. Paul is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Fred Thompson. Paul was a member of the Woodstock Horticultural Society and St. David's United Church. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Friday, September 14, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at St. David's United Church, 190 Springbank Avenue, Woodstock on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 2:00 pm with Marianne Riach officiating.
