DELANEY- At Woodstock General Hospital on Saturday August 14th, 2004 Patrick Clarence Delaney of Brenda Cres., Woodstock in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Helen (nee McGoldrick). Loved father of Mary Prusky and her husband Garry of Midland, Doris Bucciarelli and her husband Angelo of London, Thomas and his wife Madeleine of Embrun, and Frances Regier and her husband Douglas of Owen Sound. Dear grandfather of Ryan, Lisa, and Wayne Prusky, Stephen, Maeve, and Kate Bucciarelli, Curtis and Trevor Delaney, and Derek, Alyssa, and Madeline Rieger. Loved brother of Jean McKechnie and her husband Donald of Sault St. Marie, and brother- in- law of Michael McGoldrick and his wife Anne of North Bay. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Hugh Delaney and sister Doris Coveyduck. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (539-0004) on Monday from 7-9 pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Rita's Roman Catholic Church 904 Dundas St., Woodstock on Tuesday at 10:00 am with Father Alan Dufraimont officiating. Cremation. Interment in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery will take place on a later date. Contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or Woodstock General Hospital Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated. Parish prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Monday at 6:30 pm. Pat lived a full life dedicated to his faith, and his family. He retired in 1986 after a long career with CP Rail. He loved life- the peacefulness of the bush and the lakes, to work, to hunt, to golf and to enjoy a good laugh with his friends. Let us remember him in life.
