ZAVITZ- Peacefully at his residence on January 16th 2011. Orville Melvin Zavitz of Woodstock in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Gladys Mary Zavitz (nee McEwen)(1997). Dear father of Marguerite ( Robert) Richardson, Stewart (Sue), Bruce (Nora), Wayne (Diane), Marlene (Rob) Mabee, Marion Booth, John, Marie (Ken) Lapointe and Kevin (Tracy). Dear father-in-law of Anne Zavitz. Loved grandfather of 15 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his son Paul (1992), grandson Kevin (2004), brother Gord, and sisters Mary, Rita, Flossie and Pearl. Orville served in the army during WW II. Friends will be received at the Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock 519-539-0004, on Tuesday, January 18th, 2011 from 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel Wednesday, January 19th 2011 at 11:00am with Rev. Lonnie Atkinson officiating. Interment in Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
