EDWARDS - At Woodstock General Hospital on Friday March 4, 2005. Orville V. "Tony" Edwards of Queen St., Woodstock in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Catherine M. Edwards (nee Messenger) (1995). Dear father of Carol and her husband Garry Littlejohns, Dale and his wife Ann Marie and Rick all of Woodstock and Gerald and his wife Eleanor of Sweaburg. Loved grandfather of Chris Littlejohns and his companion Liana of Delaware, Alison Edwards and Ken Taylor of Norwich and Stephen Edwards of Sweaburg. Dear brother of Jean Rutherford, Claire and Louise Edwards all of Woodstock. Predeceased by his parents Amos and Myrtle Edwards, brothers Clifford (1978) and Russell (2002). Orville worked at Standard Tube in Woodstock for 39 years before retiring in 1976. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (539-0004) on Tuesday 2:30-4:30 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 1:30 pm with Rev. Kirby Constable officiating. Interment in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Oxford Lung Association would be appreciated.
