WILSON, Orpha Alvena - Passed away at Caressant Care Nursing Home Woodstock on Monday August 11, 2014 in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Herbert James Wilson (1999). Loved mother of Valerie Slavin and James Wilson and his wife Diann. Cherished grandmother of Ted Slavin and his wife Lindsay, Nick Wilson and Rick Wilson and great-grandmother of Genny Slavin and Alexandra Slavin. Predeceased by her sisters Luella Barnum and Doris Crawford and her brothers Gordon, Donny and Jack Munro. Orpha was an active and longtime member of St. David's United Church. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Thursday August 14, 2014 from 11:30am-1:30pm, where the service will be held in the chapel at 1:30pm.
