Orland William Kelner

KELNER, Orland William- A resident of Oxford Centre, RR 4 Woodstock, Orland Kelner passed away at Woodstock Hospital on Monday January 25th, 2016 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Wanda Kelner (nee Wiley). Loving father and grandfather of Blair Kelner and Joan Morris, and their children Brayden and Jordan and Susan Kelner and her children Gillian (Louis Gauvreau), Jared, and Karen. Caring brother-in-law of Marion Wiley (Roy predeceased 2009), and W. Elden (Andrea) Wiley. Predeceased by sisters, Laura (1935), Velma (Dean) Markle (1959) and Ruby (D.Wray) Jeffery (1998). He will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Orland was born February 7th, 1928 to Julia (nee Chambers) and Gordon Kelner on the family farm where he lived and farmed his whole life. He enjoyed his trips to the family cottage and sharing his love of music with family and friends. In 2013, he was proud to receive a 50 year emblem of service from the Blenheim Masonic Lodge No. 108 GRC. Family will receive friends at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock 519-539-0004 on Thursday January 28th, 2016 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm and again on Friday at 10:00am. A service of remembrance and celebration will be held in the chapel, Friday January 29th, 2016 at 11:00 am with Reverend Sarah Grady of Oxford Centre United Church officiating. Interment will be held at the East Oxford Pioneer Cemetery, Oxford Centre. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Oxford Centre United Church, or the Woodstock Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
