Olive Christina (Elwood) Bisbee

BISBEE, Olive C. - Peacefully, with family by her side, at Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock on Wednesday April 5, 2017 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Frank Bisbee (2012) and the late Ronald Possett (1982). Loving mother of; Ronald Possett, Barbara (Walter) Wilker, Sue (Don) Simonson, step-mother to Gerald (Sylvia) Bisbee and the late Leslie Ann Bisbee (Vern) Robertshaw. Dear grandmother to Cindy, David, Suzanne (Keith), Michelle (Ed), Debbie (Paul), Derek (Akiko), late Mark Alan, step-grandmother of Brett, Emily, Marissa, Ainslie and Blaire. Loved great grandmother of Kyle, Brett, Adam, Alyssa, Ashley, Grant, Peyton, Makena, Kade, Alisa and Lukas. Olive will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her infant son David Possett, siblings; Fred, Clifford, Kay, Audrey and step-siblings; Vera, Beatrice and Walter. Olive was a past member of the Woodstock Trotting Association and was a past volunteer with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario and participant with the Alzheimer Society Walk for Memories. She was an avid outdoors person. Olive especially enjoyed her time fishing at Sturgeon Falls on Lake Nipissing and the time spent at Eagle Lodge on the Pickerel River. Olive was a generous, caring and fun-loving person who simply loved being with her family and friends. A private time of remembrance will take place with her family. Cremation has taken place.
