Norman Shelton

SHELTON - Memorial Celebration of the Life Norman Llewellyn Shelton on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 11:00 am at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004. Norman passed away at the Bonnie Brae Nursing Home in Tavistock, Ontario on January 6, 2008, in his 99th year with his children by his side. Norman spent his first sixty years in Oxford County, farming north of Sweaburg and then near Innerkip and Embro. He married Minnie Thomson on July 27, 1935 and they were fortunate to celebrate almost 63 years of marriage - Minnie having passed away on March 7, 1998. They moved to Wellington County in 1970 and remained there until Norman returned to Oxford County in 2007. They were active members of their Masonic and Eastern Star, sports and in later years involved in senior citizens and finding time for the music Norman loved so dearly. The family hopes that Norman's many neighbours and friends from hi past associations as well as family and others will be able to attend to remember Norman and share memories and refreshments.
