Norman John Potter

Potter, Norman John, 91, peacefully surrounded by family and love at Woodstock Hospital, August 30, 2016. Norm is survived by his wife Audrey (Hesse) of 67 years, son Bruce and wife Marilyn, daughter Fran and husband Rick, grandchildren Susan(Ned), Carol(Chris), Jane(Jeff), Anne, Ryan(Cara), Jennifer, David(Krissy) and Chad(Jessica); and great-grandchildren Wesley, Charlie, Ella, Owen and Poppy. He is also survived by his sister Joyce and many nieces and nephews. Norm was a builder of several hundred homes in the Woodstock area. He loved to travel with Audrey across North America, winter in Florida and spend time with his grandchildren at the family cottage. Visitation will be held at the Brock & Visser funeral home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Thursday September 1, 2016 from 2:30 - 4:30 and 7-9 pm. Following a private family interment, a celebration of life honouring Norm will be held Friday September 2, 2016 at Dundas Street United Church, 285 Dundas St., Woodstock at 2:00 PM.
