Norma Elizabeth (Hallock) Tait

TAIT, Norma - Norma Elizabeth Tait passed away quietly at Woodstock Hospital August 16, 2018 at age 93. She was predeceased by Charles, her husband for 68 years, parents Howard James and Sarah Agnes Hallock (nee Raper), and her brother J. Wesley Hallock. She is survived by sons Paul (Bonnie) and Stephen (Debra) Tait, grandchildren Sarah (Dave), Geoffrey (Megan), Amber (Geoffrey), Dennis and Monica (Nathan). Her great grandchildren Ewan, Rory, Max and Sawyer will miss their visits with her. She had a keen knowledge and love of East Zorra Township's geography and people. She had many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Norma had practical wisdom that guided her life up to the end. She was well cared for by her friends at Cedarview Retirement Home, by her congregation at the church, and recently with the comforting skills of the doctors and staff at Woodstock Hospital. She and Chuck supported the Christian Blind Mission and the Woodstock Hospital Foundation. Friends may visit with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Tuesday August 21st from 7-9 pm and 1 hour prior to the service on Wednesday August 22nd at 2 pm with reception to follow.
