BROWN, Nettie W. - At Woodstock General Hospital on Tuesday, March 15, 2011. Nettie Wilhelmina (nee Schlueter) Brown formerly of RR# 5, Ingersoll and Brant St., Woodstock in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Douglas William Brown (1997). Dear mother of Jean Brown of Woodstock, Grace Brown of London, Margaret (Jim) Kelly of Woodstock and mother-in-law to Betty Brown of Woodstock. Loved Grandmother of seven, great grandmother of fifteen and great-great grandmother of five. Cherished sister Alberta Weissgerber of Kitchener and Carl Schlueter of Walkerton . Predeceased by her son George (2005), granddaughter Carrie (1975), four brothers and three sisters. Nettie was a past member of the West Oxford Woman's Institute, a member of Folden's United Church and a life member of Folden's UCW. Friends will be received at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Friday, March 18, 2011 from 7 to 9pm and again on Saturday from 12:30 - 1:30pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday 1:30 pm with Rev. David van Patter officiating. Interment later in the Harris Street Cemetery. If desired, contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or Folden's United Church would be appreciated.
