Netta Marie (Hughes) Bryson

BRYSON, Netta Marie - Peacefully surrounded by her family at Sakura House in Woodstock on Saturday May 31st, 2014. Netta was known more by her middle name Marie, was from Woodstock and was in her 83rd year. Marie will be sorely missed by her husband and best friend of 63 years, John "Jack" Bryson. Dear mother of Dora (Joseph) Pellegrino, Joseph Bryson, Carrie (Nick) Hardeman, Teresa Furtney, and Paul (Cindy) Bryson. Dear grandmother of Lisa and Carlo; Erin and Allison; Megan and Kelly; Jordan and Michael. Much loved sister of Pansy (Leslie) Pellow, Eleanor (Donald) Shewan and her sisters and brothers-in-law Shirley Wilson, Elaine Hughes and Robert (Donna) Parsons. Marie was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Stella (nee Cooper) Hughes, as well as her brothers Gordon (Jean) Hughes and Peter Hughes. Marie was born and raised in the Holbrook area and was passionately committed to her family. Marie was an active parishioner of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, a member of the C.W.L., in her spare time she loved gardening and was famous for her apple pies. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at the Brock &Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock 519-539-0004, on Tuesday June 3, from 7-9pm. The Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 1420 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock, on Wednesday June 4, 2014 at 11am with Father Richard Dales as celebrant. Interment in the Beachville Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish Building Fund, or the VON Sakura House would be appreciated.
