Nelson Labonte

LABONTE, Nelson Harvey passed away on June 17, 2010 at the age of 74. Beloved friend and partner of the late Gertrude Pitblado (2007). Son of Ida Charron (nee Queneville) and the late Noel Labonte (1966). Stepson of Orville Charron (1980). Father of Peggy Bouillon (George) of Belle River, David (Rosa) of Windsor, Donald (Jeanette) of Emeryville, Thomas of Tilbury, Lena Bellemore (Gerald) of Belle River and Michael (1994). Grandfather of Vanessa (Mike), Sarah (Michael), Joseph, Joshua. D.J., Miranda, Marissa, Marija (Paul), Milan, Michelle, Christopher, Nicholas and great grandfather of Gavin, Quinn, Anthony and Natasha. Brother of Alice Reaume (2010), Roger (2007), Ilene St. Pierre (Bill) of Tilbury and brother-in-law of Betty Labonte of Detroit. Nelson retired from Ford Motor Company in 1993 where he had been an employee for over 30 years. He was also a longtime member of Local 200, Windsor. Cremation has taken place. An interment will take place at Hillview Cemetery on Thursday June 24, 2010 at 2:00 pm with Father Richard Dales officiating.
