Nathan David Richard Champagne

Nathan David Richard Champagne March 24,1998 - Oct 10,2022. Passed away in Windsor, ON. Beloved son of Dave and Erin Champagne (nee Bloomfield). Loved brother of Salina (Kurtis), Miranda, and Felicity (Cute). Proud and loving father to Rylee Smith. Uncle to our sweet Nova Starr Hooper who passed away in January, 2022. Nephew to many loving Aunts and Uncles and Great Aunts and Uncles. A cousin to many.  A “brother” and "son" to those at Brentwood Recovery Home. A friend to anyone who knew him.

Nathan was on his way to loving himself just as much as we all loved him. He was brave to face his trials, strong to fight through them, and hopeful for the times ahead. Our Nathan was the kind of person you couldn't help but be drawn to. He was full of so much chaotic energy and loved with great intensity. It was a privilege and an honour to be a recipient of that love.

Nathan was given back to us through Brentwood Recovery Home's program where he graduated September of this year. How we wish we could have celebrated him for so much longer, but we are proud of him nonetheless. Nathan has touched many lives and will be so desperately missed. May he rest easy, knowing we will keep the memory of him alive in our hearts. Our peace is that he is now totally free from his struggles. Our hope is to one day be reunited with him in heaven with his and our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Friends are welcome to join the family to honour Nathan’s life at Innerkip Presbyterian Church on Monday, October 17th at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held the day before, Sunday October 16th from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contribution to Brentwood Recovery Home will be gratefully acknowledged and may be arranged through the Funeral Home.
