Nancy Elizabeth (Ross) Wieringa passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 6th at the age of 51 at Victoria Hospital in London after a short and brave battle with cancer. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 29 years John; her dear boys Jack and Oliver; her brothers Kevin Ross and Robert Ross; and her sister Wendy (Ross) Watts. She was predeceased by her brother Steven Ross and her parents John (Jack) Gordon Ross and Ruth Doreen (Burton) Ross. She will also be dearly missed by her colleagues at Beatty, Stock & Boddy, her friends within the legal community, as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Nancy was known for being the most selfless, loving, and caring mother. She was a wonderful mom and a hardworking legal clerk. Nancy took on every aspect of life with enormous pride and joy. Nancy always had the brightest smile in any room followed by her infectious laugh. Nancy enjoyed watching her boys play hockey, spending time with family in her backyard oasis, whether it was hot summer days in the pool or cold winter nights by the fire wrapped up with her dog Rosie.
We want to extend a warm thank you to the London Health Science Centre, and the nurses and the team on the 7th floor area C-409 of the critical care unit. We also want to sincerely thank Dr. Akira Sugimoto for his compassionate care and empathy for Nancy and her family.
