Nancy Jean (Mighton) Springstead

SPRINGSTEAD, Nancy Jean- Passed away peacefully at VON-Sakura House on Tuesday November 28th 2017. Nancy J. Springstead (nee Mighton) of Sweaburg in her 70th year. Beloved wife of over 47 years to Danny Springstead. Cherished mother of the late Timothy Andrew (1988) and Matthew Jesse (1997). Loved sister-in-law of Ted Sinclair, Cathy (Bert) Harkes,Tim (Bonnie) Springstead, Colleen (Werner) Braun, Mike (Donna) Springstead, Dean (Collette) Springstead, Marty Springstead, Ken (Kelli) Springstead, and Terry (dec. Robert Foster) Springstead. Also survived by her father-in-law Thomas Carl Springstead and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Janet Sinclair (2013). Nancy loved her career as an elementary school teacher with Thames Valley District School Board, as well as being a board member for W.D.D.S. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Sunday December 3rd 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church 1420 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock on Monday December 4th 2017 at 11:00 am with Father Richard Dales as celebrant.
