Nancy Vera Mollon

MOLLON, Nancy Vera – The Mollon family of Ingersoll are devastated to announce that Nancy passed away on Monday, September 6th, 2021, in her 81st year, with her family by her side. Nancy was born to the late Hugh and Audrey Wilkins on September 5, 1941, in Woodstock, Ontario. She married her beloved husband, Ray Mollon in 1965, where they spent a few happy years living in Toronto and London before settling in Ingersoll in 1968. Nan is survived by her great love Ray and her three children, Steve Mollon (Deirdre) of Kilworth, Jeff Mollon (Stacey) of Ingersoll and Deb Ellery (Derek) also of Ingersoll. She is also survived by grandchildren Kristin, Keira, Kallie, Broc and Kristina and great-grandchildren Cayden, Ava, Jackson, and Bennett. She was deeply loved by her family and will be greatly missed by her brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and many close friends.

Nan was a true matriarch and loved hosting family gatherings for birthdays and holidays and loved visits with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also took great pride in her gardens and was meticulous about the plants and flowers all around her beautiful yard.

Nan and Ray really enjoyed classic cars and spent years enjoying the company of their fellow Bygone Iron car club members and attending car shows and rod runs.

Camping was also a passion for Nan. Family camping trips with the kids and friends earlier in life transitioned into a lifelong RV’ing hobby which Ray and Nan enjoyed until 2020.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock, for a time of visitation on Wednesday, September 8th from 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service will take place Thursday, September 9th in the chapel at 11 am. Please RSVP via our website.  Interment will take place at the Ingersoll Rural Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations in support of cancer research or the Woodstock Alzheimer’s Society. A Celebration of Life will be planned for a future date.
