Papp, Myrtle Irene Emily (Nee Kowalski)

Passed away suddenly in her 72nd year, on Tuesday Feb.13th, 2024 at the Woodstock Hospital with her loving family at her side. Beloved and cherished wife of 45 years to Thomas Papp of Woodstock. Loving mother to Ed Papp (Becky) of Woodstock. Predeceased by her parents Myrtle and Edward Kowalski of Toronto.

Myrtle was an avid reader and also loved to do crafts. She was a shopaholic who could never turn down a good deal (even when it wasn’t). Her faith was important to her and she really enjoyed attending Sunday service as a member of the Salvation Army. Her feisty spirit will live on and she will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place.

There will be a private family service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to either the Alzheimer’s Society of Ontario or Diabetes Canada.
