LIPPERT, Murray Stewart - After a lengthy illness at the Woodstock Hospital on Wednesday May 28, 2014. Beloved husband of Ruth L. (nee Berg) Lippert for 60 years. Dear brother-in-law of Joy Lippert, Maurice Berg, Dorothy Brenneman, Florence Smith and survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Stewart and Beatrice (nee Swale) Lippert, brother Allan, brother-in-law Harry Smith and sister-in-law Audrey Berg. Murray worked for over 38 years for the County of Oxford as a foreman in the roads dept.. He enjoyed playing Baseball in Embro and Hickson and guitar in the country music band "Sunset Ramblers". He also loved bowling and travelling. In his retirement he took up golfing and curling. A private family interment service will be held at the North Embro Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation or the CNIB would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Woodstock, 519-539-0004.
