Muriel Isobel (Oliver) Stevenson

Stevenson, Muriel I. – Passed away at residence on Friday December 10, 2021. Muriel Isobel (nee Oliver) Stevenson of Caressant Care, Woodstock and formerly of Canterbury St. and Devonshire Ave., Woodstock in her 104th year. Beloved wife of the late James F. Stevenson (1978). Loving mother of Larry (Linda) Stevenson and Bruce (Donna) Stevenson. Cherished grandmother of Mark (Linda), Paul (Tammy), Daryl (Shelly), Laurie (Mark), Bradley (Cindy), great grandmother of Kirk, Lea (Matthew), Zack, Justin, Dan (Shelby), Grace, Brody and great-great grandmother of Carter and Elijah. Dear sister to Clayton (late Janet) Oliver. Muriel will always be remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Jean (late Arnold) Hutty, Ken (Bea) Oliver, and Russell (Jean, Mary) Oliver. Muriel was a longtime member of College Ave. Church, Woodstock where she participated in many events including a member of the choir. She was also a member of the Woodstock and Oxford Centre Seniors and her favorite past times were quilting and playing Euchre. In her last days you could still find a deck of cards in her walker. A private family service will be held at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Woodstock, 519-539-0004. Cremation followed. Interment later in the Oxford Pioneer Cemetery.
