Mona Joan (Hamilton) Howe

HOWE, Mona Joan (nee Hamilton) age 82 years died peacefully at Woodstock General Hospital surrounded by her family on August 2nd, 2011. Predeceased by her husband Frank in 1988, and son David in1985. Survived by her son John (Dr Elaine Doyle) of Waterloo, daughter Jane (Elizabeth Frazer) of North Bay, grandson Adam (Erin) and great granddaughter Aubrey of Waterford, brother Robert Hamilton (Molly) of Dartmouth Nova Scotia and friends of Lorri Howe and Cindy Bratt of Ingersoll. A member of the Woodstock Field Naturalists, the Woodstock Art Gallery and a charter member of the St David's United Church. According to Mona's wishes, there will be no funeral home visitation. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 17th, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the Brock & Visser Chapel at 845 Devonshire Avenue in Woodstock. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St David's United Church memorial fund or a charity of your choice are greatly appreciated and may be arranged at the funeral home 519-539-0004.
