MCMILLEN - Peacefully at her residence on Saturday, March 24, 2007, Mildred "Ruth" McMillen of Ingersoll in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late William R. McMillen (1982). Dear mother of daughters Colleen Cole and her husband Murray of Woodstock, Sharon Mann and her husband Malcolm of Port Dover, step-daughter Shirley Easey and her husband Art of Culloden, and step-son Ed McMillen and his wife Diane of London. Loved grandmother of Wayne Cole and his wife Tracy of Woodstock, Heather Ellerby and her husband Kevin of Cambridge, Kathleen Mann of Indianapolis and Christopher Mann of Simcoe. Great grandmother of Georgia, Codi and Nick of Woodstock and Lucas of Cambridge. Dear sister of Keith Turner and his wife Jean of Cambridge. Predeceased by her sister Reta M. Shouldice of Lions Head. Daughter of the late Charles Ernest and the late Annie Elizabeth Turner. Ruth was a longtime member of Burgessville United Church for 45 years and for the past 17 years a member of Dundas Street United Church, Woodstock. She was a life member for 55 years of the West Oxford Women's Institute and later an active member of Burgessville Women's Institute. Ruth was an avid button collector and a charter member of the Trillium Button Club that was established in 1958. She was a past member of the Woodstock Hospital Auxiliary and Norwich Historical Society. Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 from 2:30-4:30 and 7-9 pm and one hour prior to the memorial service which will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Bonnie Pilkey officiating. Interment later in Burgessville Baptist Church Cemetery.
