Michelle Lee (Vottero) Miller

May 21, 1969 — November 3, 2024

Michelle Lee Miller passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on November 3, 2024, at Sakura House at the age of 55. Michelle's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and faith.

Michelle's journey through life was marked by her unwavering devotion to her family. She was the cherished wife of Richard (Rick) Miller, with whom she shared a love that was the bedrock of their family. As a loving mama to Tamara and Miranda, she instilled in her daughters the values of compassion and strength. Her joy was multiplied with the arrival of her grandson, Beau, who became the apple of her eye. Michelle's love extended to her mother, Christine Vottero, her siblings, Jason (Pia), Janel (Jim), Julie (Glen), and Amy (Dave), and her mother-in-law, Myrna Miller. She was a beloved member of Rick's family, including Ken (Rose), Kim (Glenn), Kathy (Mike), and Kevin, and was an adored aunt to many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her father, Bruno Vottero.

A devoted homemaker and an artist at heart, Michelle's creativity was evident in every brushstroke on her canvas and every note played on her violin. Her love for music was only matched by her talent in the kitchen, where she was a wonderful cook and baker. Her family and friends will fondly remember the joy and warmth that filled her home.

Michelle's passion for the outdoors was infectious. She found peace and solace in nature, whether it was while camping under the stars or simply enjoying the tranquility of her garden. Her love for the outdoors was a reflection of her appreciation for life's simple pleasures.

Those who knew Michelle will remember her as the embodiment of love and kindness. Her faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour was a source of strength and guidance throughout her life, and it shone brightly in her every action. She had the rare ability to make everyone around her feel loved and valued, and her legacy of love will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Friends will be received at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home on Friday November 8, 2024 from 11am-12:45pm.  A funeral service will take place at 1pm in the funeral home chapel, with interment to follow at Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.  For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to VON-Sakura House
