Michael Joseph Iorio

IORIO, Michael Joseph - Passed away with his loving family by his side at Victoria Hospital, London on Sunday, April 7, 2019 in his 27th year. Beloved son of Steven (Patti Lartigue) Iorio and Elaina (Ron Fraser) Taylor. Cherished brother of Emily Iorio, Savannah Fraser, Darcie (Geoff) Lee, Aaron (Aoife) Fraser, Blair Fraser and uncle to Jared, Madeline, Eoghan and Maeve. Loved by his grandparents Maria and the late Giuseppe Iorio, the late Eric and Lilian Taylor, Joan and the late Bob Fuller, the late Margaret and Alvin Fraser. Beloved boyfriend of Elise Defays. Michael will always be remembered by his Aunts and Uncles; Adele Taylor-Pick and Walter Pick, Marina and Frank Greco and Angela Iorio. Michael was a young man that had a real zest for life. He enjoyed hiking, photography, travel, technology, nature, figs from his Dad's trees and cafes. He could always be seen around Woodstock on his electric longboard. He graduated from Niagara College from the Broadcasting - Radio, Television and Film program and was in his last semester at Sheridan College where he studied Software Engineering. His spirit will live on in the hearts and minds of the many lives he touched. Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Thursday, April 11,2019 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. The funeral Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1420 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday at 11:00 am. Interment to follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
