Michael Dennis "Mick" Douglas

DOUGLAS - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Thursday July 30, 2009. Michael "Mick" D. Douglas of Woodstock in his 57th year. Beloved husband of Sheila D. (nee Clark) Douglas for over 31 years. Dear father of Jennifer and Nicole both at home. Loved son of Jack Douglas and the late Marie (nee Kelly) Douglas of Stratford. Dear brother of Kerry Douglas of Stratford. Loving son-in-law of Isobel Clark of Thamesford and the late Dr. Carl Clark, brother-in-law of David Clark and his wife Diana of Thamesford and Dr. Elaine Clark-Rapley of Waterloo. Mick will be remembered by his nieces Andrea Clark, Lisa Rapley, Sarah Woodgate (Phill) and Meagan Rapley. Predeceased by an infant brother Johnny. Mick was a longtime employee of the City of Woodstock at the Community Complex. He enjoyed volunteering his time with many community activities such as; minor hockey, soccer, minor ball and the Woodstock Legion Athletic Club. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Monday August 3, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where the complete memorial service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 1:30 pm.
