Mervin Wesley Osmond

OSMOND, Mervin Wesley- Passed away peacefully at the V.O.N. Sakura House on Sunday, December 1st, 2019, in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Barb Osmond (nee Naylor) for 53 years. Loving father of David (Angela) and Sara Osmond. Cherished grandfather of Forrestt (Justin Dygos) Ashley, Emma, and Kieghan Osmond and great grandfather of Daxton and Aubree. Dear brother to Murray (Lou-Anne), Brian (Mary), and Mary Osmond. Merv is survived by his step-mother Donalda Osmond and step-brother Joe Coles. He will be missed by his extended family, as well as several nieces and nephews along with many great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Doug and Edith Osmond and his brother Bill. Merv enjoyed his time gardening and was a loyal Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays fan. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004), on Friday, December 6th, 2019 from 2 to 4 pm and again from 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service will take place in the chapel on Saturday, December 7th, 2019 at 11:00 am. If desired, memorial contributions to the V.O.N.
