Beam, Merna Frances (Nee Balcom) - Passed away peacefully at Woodstock Hospital on Saturday May 11th, 2019, in her 96th. Loving mother of Donald Beam of Guelph, Ontario and Karen Clingo of Bayfield, Ontario. Dear grandmother of Jonathan Beam of Brooklin, Ontario, Jennifer Beam of Stouffville, Ontario, and Keith and Shelly Clingo of Kitchener, Ontario. Predeceased by her parents Malcom and Nellie (Nee McDow) Balcom, husband John Beam, brothers Lloyd, Gerald and Jack Balcom, her sister Joan Smith (Murray) of Dartmouth, N.S., sisters-in-law Shirley Balcom of Summerside, P.E.I., and Madeline Balcom of Halifax, N.S.. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Wednesday May, 15th, 2019 for visitation at 10:30 am, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am, and reception to follow.
