THOMSON- At Western Health Sciences Centre-University Campus on Friday August 8th, 2003. Melvin Beverly Thomson of Alice St. in his 69th year. Beloved husband of Edith Thomson (nee Nelson). Dear father of Christine McKay and her husband William of Kitchener, and Mark and his wife Crystal of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Tyler. Sadly missed by his brother Ken and his wife Anne of Innerkip, sister-in-law Helen, and several nieces and nephews. Melvin is predeceased by his father George, mother Kathleen, and brothers Peter and Reginald. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (539-0004) on Monday from 7-9pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 11:00 am with Rev. Kirby Constable officiating. Interment in Hillview cemetery. Contributions Heart&Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
