M. Bernice Cummings

Marjorie Bernice (Bernie/ Bern) Cummings (Rennie)

Drifted away peacefully with her family by her side at Oxford Manor on November 18th, 2023.

Bernice was 93 years old.  Loving wife to the late Norm (2003), proud mother to Janis Loney (Gary) and Judi Anstee (2016) (Dan), Brother to Harv Rennie (Joyce) and Audrey Robson (2006) ( Jack- 2013), Grandmother/ Gma/ G-Unit to Sarah (Darryl), Diane (Matt), Brian (Brooke),  Pam (Matt) and Great- grandma (GG) to Sophie, Jake,  Owen, Dylan, Keenan, Blake, Seth and Dayne!

Bern was a long time resident of Thamesford and had a life long career at the Thamesford RBC Royal Bank. She took and early retirement to help Norm battle his long recovery after a brain injury  in 1988.

Once recovered, the two loved travelling, especially to their home in Florida where they enjoyed the game of golf as much as they loved spending time at their family cottage in Southampton.  Norm was the love of her life and Bernie was eager for the day she was reunited with her husband!

Visitations will be held at Brock And Visser Funeral home located at 177 Dundas St in Thamesford on Friday November 24th from 2-4  pm and 6-8 pm.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday November 25th at 10:00 am at Brock and Visser Funeral Home (Thamesford Chapel)  Interment at Anglican Church Cemetery and reception to follow.

Memorial donations can be made to Sakura House in Woodstock or the Anglican Church in Thamesford.
