Maxwell Roy Baigent

BAIGENT, Maxwell Roy passed away Sunday, March 6th, 2022, at the age of 94.  Beloved husband to Betty for over 63 years. Loving father to Shelley Jauernig (Peter) and David Baigent (Sandy). Will be missed greatly by his grandchildren Melissa (Randy), Logan (Merissa), Amanda (Adam), Russell (Netasha), and William (Melanie), and 5 great-grandchildren. Survived by his sister Joyce Hutchison (Bob) and predeceased by his parents Roy and Elsie and brothers Wallace, George, and Ralph. In his younger years, Max worked at various jobs across our country.  In his early 20’s, Max settled on a dairy farm just outside of Thamesford.  Max loved his farm where he lived and worked for over 70 years.  He often said that running the farm kept him out of trouble, but those that knew him knew he still could find a bit of trouble to get into now and then. Max loved a bit of fun and was quick to tease and had a sharp sense of humour. He loved to tell a story or two. He had a wonderful outlook on life and was thankful for each day and made the most of it. He often spoke of the changes that took place during his lifetime, commenting how great it was to live on this little blue planet.
