OTT- Peacefully, at Sakura House, Woodstock, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, February 13, 2010. Mathilda Ott (nee Weresch) of Woodstock in her 73rd year. Beloved wife of Leo Ott. Dear mother of Marilyn Ott-Millar and her husband Charles of Woodstock, Beverly Ott-Peon and her husband Glenn of Burgessville, and Kimberly Drivas and her husband Athanasios of Toronto. Loved grandmother of Charles (CJ), Chantel, and Mackenzie Millar, Nathan and Nadine Peon. Dear sister of Thomas (Christel) Weresch, Anna (Oscar) Goehner, Paul (Betty) Weresch, Elfrieda (Phillip) Green, Andy (Pat) Weresch, Adam (Dorothy) Weresch, John (Sandy) Weresch, and Frank (Ruby) Weresch. Also survived by her brothers and sisters in-law Joyce and Ewald Ott, Edmund and Friedel Ott, as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Anna (nee Guska) Weresch. Mathilda was a longtime member of Immanuel Pentecostal Church, Kitchener and Calvary Pentecostal Church, Woodstock. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (519-539-0004) Wednesday, February 17 from 2:30 -4:30 and 7-9 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the Longworth funeral home chapel on Thursday February 18, 2010 at 11:00 am with Pastors Keith Bishop, and Bill Meade officiating. Contributions to the Ontario Bethel Park Society to send children to camp or the London Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated. Interment in the spring at the Innerkip Cemetery.
