Wayne and Mary both passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 22, 2024, Mary at age of 83 and Wayne at age 82. Parents of Mark (Christine), Ann and Karen, and grandparents to Karissa. Wayne is survived by his sister, Susan and predeceased by his parents, Evelyn and Roger and sister Andrea. Mary is survived by her sisters, Margaret (Stan) and Irene. She is predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Stephen Demeny. 

Friends will be received at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home – Thamesford Chapel, 177 Dundas St. West, Thamesford, on Monday, December 30, 2024 from 11am-11:45am. Funeral service for Wayne and Mary will follow at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel. Private interment at Dorchester Union Cemetery. 

Wayne and Mary’s family extends their deepest thanks and gratitude to the staff at Mary’s home, Bobier Villa in Dutton, as well as the staff at both Ingersoll Hospital and the St. Thomas Elgin Hospital for the care Mary and Wayne received and the support provided during this most difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be welcomed to the Salthaven Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre or to a charity of one’s choice.
